Why am I here?

Regardless of what anyone in your inner circle tells you, becoming a single parent is a big deal and as a result, many aspects of your life will be weighed on scales that you've never used before. I've only been in the experience of single parenting for a little over a year, but so far things have gone pretty smoothly. Throughout the experience, I've continually reflected about how my daughter has responded to the flux in her world and redirected myself when necessary. She's a happy little kid, so in some respects, I've done a few things right. I created this blog in order to share a few of the insights I've come up with in hopes of helping others have a peaceful experience if they find themselves in a single-parenting or co-parenting situation.
